ROBBINSVILLE SOUL Game Results The Robbinsville Soul, a U13 girls travel team, fell 1- 0 against the Haddon Township Hotshots in an incredible game. The Soul fielded just eleven players for the entire game with no substitutes. The game was full of great soccer by the Soul who dominated the run of play for the entire match. Forward Jaclyn Dilts, Alex Hipple, Emily Kolaski made excellent use and demonstrated excellent individual foot skills beating the opponents backline numerous times. Nicole Yap and Selena Anker provided great width as outside mids, their speed and skill offered many crosses and smart combination plays. Kasey Homan, Monica Thomas, and Alyssa McAnany controlled the mid field for most of the game - creating opportunities with excellent passes and combinations. Missy Baier and Alex Spadavecchia played incredibly well as anchor defensive backs thwarting any attacking opportunity of the Hotshots. The lone goal of the game came from a corner kick close to the end of the match. Allyson Guieb was injured during her first few minutes of play and did not finish the match. The Soul provided an excellent exhibition of determination, skill, and soccer smarts - opening the field with great team shape and strong pressure on the ball. Excellent defensive cover was the hallmark of this exciting match for the Soul. |
