Welcome to a new season. Our First Practice is Thursday, February 18th!

Welcome to a new season of Lazers soccer on Team Menace. Our first practice will be this Thursday, February 18. We will not have practice on Monday, due to the holiday. You will notice a few changes this season as I try to improve the experience for your daughters so they can continue to have fun and learn more about the game of soccer!

Our practice schedule has changed slightly from last season. Thank you for your feedback on the schedule, I know we did not accommodate everyone, but we tried to accommodate as many as possible. Practices will be on Field 3A-2 on Monday and Thursday at 6:15-7:30. For the first few weeks we will still have a problem with the sunset, but we will try to plan accordingly so we are not practicing in the dark or freezing cold. We will have our first practice as planned and then make any adjustments for the second week as needed.

The skills/activities we do during practice will be driven by what the Lazers staff wants us to work on, and what they have observed during games. One of the practices is planned by the Lazers staff and our second practice during the week will be planned by me, based on the topics provided by the Lazers staff. If you want additional activities or to know what your daughter can work on outside of practice, please let me know and I will be glad to provide anything I can.

Please make sure that your daughter is at practice and prepared for practice on time, and that you are there ready to pick her up when practice is over. Everyone was great about this last season, and I truly appreciate it. If you are going to have a recurring conflict, please let me know and we will try to plan accordingly.

I will send out additional information about games as our first game approaches. The game schedule has not been finalized yet, but our first game will likely be the first Saturday in March. I believe we may also have a game on the first Sunday in March.

I am going to try to utilize the news and discussion pages on the website for communication, but please let me know if this is causing issues. Thank you for letting me coach your wonderful young ladies this season. Have a great holiday weekend, I am anxiously awaiting our first practice on Thursday.
