Season Starts: Jan. 8, 2011 - Sunday for 9 weeks
(01/8, 01/22, 01/29, 02/05, 02/19, 02/26, 03/04, 3/11/ 3/18)
Time & Place: 45 minute sessions at the Sharon School Gym.
Age Groups:The age groups are limited to 4, 5, 6 and 7 year olds. Must be this age as of October 1st 2011.
Cost:$100.00 per child
Sign Ups:Immediately! Register online from our Website, www.rsasoccer.com. Registration cutoff is January 9th, 2012.
We are providing a winter program for our players. Space is limited, it will be first come first served, so register as soon as possible. The emphasis of the program is to provide the players with an opportunity to play soccer indoors, be creative, and most importantly have fun playing the most popular game in the world.
• The players will be organized in the same age groups as the Fall Recreation Leagues. Each group will have different times of play.
• The players will have age-appropriate skills activities that are designed to enhance their confidence with a soccer ball. Maze games, target games, and games that require many touches on the ball are key to building a strong foundation in soccer.
• Age-appropriate skills activities are modeled in line with the US Youth Soccer training guidelines.
• Small-sided games (4v4 or 5v5) will be played after the skills activities. The format: will be informal games, players rotating from team to team.
There will be no assigned teams or assigned coaches. Boys and girls will be grouped by age under the supervision of one or more professional trainer. The GOAL is to have your child increase their love for soccer by having fun playing the game.
The sessions are scheduled with consideration of the Robbinsville Basketball Association Schedule.
The Robbinsville girls lost 2 - 1 in overtime in the State Finals. The girls were awesome to get that far. Congratulations on a fantastic season.
